Bug-A-Boo

The itsy-bitsy spider was my son Kaden Quinn... tonight in his program at school called "Bugz". He had a great time on stage! It was so cute to see all of the bees, ants, lady bugs, butterflies, caterpillars, an exterminator and only two spiders (Kaden and a girl). It was fun!
I think he liked the costume I made. Aah...memories.

The End of the Easter Celebration!

Our church put on an amazing musical tonight called "The Borrowed Tomb". There was an option to go see it on Saturday night or Sunday morning. We tried something new and went on Saturday night and tomorrow will be a family day. Here are the kids in their "Easter Best"!

Cami loves her dress so she asked me to take a photo of her twirling. I think this is nice, but it totally shows her personality too. Love it.

Kenzie insisted on taking pictures by herself with mom and dad. She is so sweet.
I made her dress, which is something I don't normally sew: clothes. Once I saw her in the whole getup, it was worth every about to lose my sanity minute. I think all the kids looked like beautiful Easter eggs with all the nice colors.

Daddy with his baby girl! It is so nice to see everyone dressed up. I wish we all could have had one taken together, but this is a great second.

Our children are beautiful. I am so in love with our family! We are blessed and so thankful for all that God has given us. Happy Easter everyone! May all of you be blessed as you remember what Jesus did for us!

The Beginning of our Easter Festivities

Lumberton puts on an annual fun day for the kids on Easter weekend. We decided to go today and had a great time, well... some of us did. You know I didn't ask the older girls to sit with the bunnies of anything, but do you think it would have been too much to ask to at least smile? Being a tween these days is entirely too serious. I tried to lighten the mood when the DJ played a song I liked, I did some line dance moves and Kevin even ended up wearing the fire man hats. Do you think that helped? We are so mean!
The little ones had a great time. It was our first time meeting Mrs. Bunny. She must not have been on maternity leave this year. Ha. I thought this was a cute set up.

Again with the faces. This is what Kai said to me. "Mom, I have a reputation". If they keep this up, don't think I won't be chaperoning every school dance! Don't mess with me. In all reality, it wasn't that bad. We ALL had a good time!

You might be a red neck if...

Kailyn has been working on getting as many teeth out of her mouth for some unknown reason. This tooth just would not break off the last root and this is what it looked like. Yuck. It came out moments later when she twisted it.

The Southeast Texas State Fair

Not a whole lot to write here, but I wanted to post some pictures of our day at the fair. We have had some issues lately with bickering and some regular tween gunk, but today, we were just happy to be together and share a fun day together. It was refreshing and rejuvenating. Life is good. I love our family!
